Lynn Teacher Turnover Rates

Teacher turnover rates refer to the percentage of teachers who did not remain a teacher within the particular state, district or school from one year to the next.

Below is a chart which indicates the teacher turnover rates for Massachusetts and the Lynn Public School district from 2009 - 2012.

 


Turnover rates at the individual school level, however, can often vary from the state and district rates.

 
At the elementary level in Lynn, teacher turnover rates ranged from 15% to 70% in 2012.



At the secondary level, teacher turnover rates ranged from 8% to 35% in 2012.
