Unfortunately, Rice High School (Harlem, NY), a school that I wrote about in this post: http://uneducacion.blogspot.com/2011/04/celebrating-and-supporting-good-schools.html will close on June 30th. Despite successfully educating males in Harlem for 70 years, the school closes amid a financial crisis and declining enrollment similar to other Catholic schools around the country.
